Awesome & Thank You!

Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving!

The title of this post are the two words that PJ and I find ourselves saying a lot these days.  We're 10 & 7 now, so these are the things we are so glad to have in our lives: back at school full-time, Fall Sports, Trick-or-Treating, time with grandparents, birthday parties and mini-vacations.

The photo-links will show you our adventures.  We hope you enjoy and find something to be grateful for each and every day.

Happy Holidays,

Cooper & Co.

Fall Fun!  All about our sports (I did soccer and Porter did baseball), grandparent visits, Halloween, celebrating Diwali with our neighbors, attending our first Woodland Opera House performance in almost 2-years (Curious George!) & the Sno-Shack prize that our school won!

Porter-man Celebrates a Decade - On October 3rd, PJ turned the big 1-0.  He got to have a birthday party at "Scandia Fun Center" with a few friends from school and the Villagers. Moms surprised the group with In-n-Out for lunch and made Porter's requested giant cookie cakes as his treat! One of the cool things he did to celebrate, was to ask his friends to make a donation to the local animal shelter instead of gifts for him.  He took a big load of things to the shelter after his birthday...and he got a few presents from his friends, too! 😏

Tina's Jubilee   - Mama celebrated her big 5-0 just before PJ.  While we celebrated her at home with Memaw (I made her a mini red velvet cake with my Easy Bake Oven!) and with Nana & Papa, her birthday party wasn't until early October.  Mommy planned a whole weekend away for Mama and our Santa Clara Aunties, at a place called the Bees Knees near San Luis Obispo. Those crazy gals seemed to have a bunch of fun, then Moms spent an extra night in Cambria.

San Francisco Tourists  - Porter, Mommy and I had November 11 & 12 off from school, so Mama took some time off too and surprised us with a trip to San Francisco.  We got to stay at a hotel near Union Square, ride a big bus with the open top all over the city, do all sorts of touristy things and before coming home on Saturday, Papa met us at Muir Woods.  My favorite thing about the weekend was going to Academy of Sciences and PJ's favorite part was our Trolley Ride!

  1. Looks like fun and exciting times like always. I also love that Porter wanted donations given instead of gifts received. You two have created some magnificent kids!!! ❤️
